In 2016, Under Armour were able to reach the $1 billion mark in terms of revenue which was labeled by Plank as “a huge milestone for our brand” in an earnings call, at April 27.
Under Armour, unlike Lululemon, has teamed up with female celebrities such as model Gisele Bundchen, yoga teacher Kathryn Budig and ballerina Misty Copeland to boost sales.

Old Navy is owned by Gap Inc, offering a cheaper and popular alternative to other pricey yoga manufacturers like Lululemon. For instance, the Yoga pants sold by Old Navy costs as low as $20 while Lululemon sells theirs at a whopping $100! After the departure of Stefan Larsson from Old Navy, Jill Stanton became the interim president, touted activewear to be a source of growth with the growth of Old Navy propping up Gap’s stock.
